Tiny problems and tremendous tears: how to save a child from grief?
An adult does not understand the reason for a child's tears and mood. There is a false sense that tantrums are a tool for manipulation. But the truth is much simpler — the need for attention, the desire to be heard.
But how to find out the true motives of the child?
Children feel the surrounding world differently. Their eyes see hidden signs. They are strangers to the hustle and bustle of adults. Always full of fleeting joy, and sincerely laugh when seeing a bug or a pet. But at the same time, they are capable of sadness and crying. And their grief is more colored and emotionally intense.
A child wants to influence his parents. His emotions are a call for changes: in surroundings, activities, behavior, and reactions. A cry for help from little mouths sounds unfamiliar to adult ears. But the baby senses the situation in his own way and tries to find support.
And when he balks at aggression or unwillingness to be heard, there is real grief. The child sees no change, desired support, or response to him. And it cripples the little one's emotional world.
Unsaid words break relationships. Lack of will to take a seat and listen for three minutes — cripples lives. If you avoid the problem and ignore solving it, the consequences will be catastrophic. And a moment of weakness in the form of silence will turn into an eternal mute.
So do not underestimate the grief of the baby. It may seem ridiculous, but do not disrespect the feelings of the children. You may hurt them.
